February Charity Partner – Black Girls Code

At Casely, we’re working to highlight a different charity each month as part of our #everycasecounts initiative, raising awareness for a wide range of deserving causes that our customers feel passionate about.

By highlighting a different charity every month, we're empowering communities worldwide, providing support to organizations as the need arises. Supporting charities our customers and the communities they're a part of believe in is an essential aspect of giving back. 

This month, we want to take a moment to recognize the inspiring work performed by Black Girls Code. 

What Is Black Girls Code? 

Black Girls Code works to engage girls of color with education in computer programming, helping them enter the technology sector and begin their careers in the technology sector. The organization has worked with local organizations, schools, and volunteers to provide virtual and in-person learning opportunities for women and girls of color between the ages of 7 and 25. 

Programs don't stop at coding skills either, as the organization works to help participants gain the confidence and knowledge they need to achieve their career goals. 

The organization’s vital work helps girls of color strive for fulfilling careers in tech, empowering participants to attain the skills needed to reach their goals, from coding practices to increased confidence.

Black Girls Code is our February Charity Partner, and they're well-deserving of a shout-out and continued support for the excellent work they've been doing to help women and girls of color nurture tech careers since 2011.
