Recall Safety Notice

Casely is conducting a voluntary recall in partnership with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC). This page will help determine if your Casely product is recalled. To check, please go to "Is My Product Recalled?" below.

April 17th, 2025: Casely Inc., in collaboration with U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), is voluntarily recalling certain Casely Power Pods because the lithium-ion battery in the recalled Power Pods can potentially overheat and ignite, posing fire and burn hazards to consumers. The units were sold online at getcasely.com, Amazon.com and other ecommerce websites from March 2022 through September 2024.  Our records indicate that you may have purchased a Power Pod covered by this recall.

If you own a qualifying Power Pod, please stop using it immediately. Follow the instructions below to request a free replacement and dispose of your current Power Pod battery pack according to your local lithium-ion battery disposal guidelines.

Is my product recalled?

Out of an abundance of caution, Casely is conducting a voluntary recall of select Power Pod (Model: E33A) portable chargers due to a risk of the battery overheating. For more information related to this recall, please see the following press releases:
CPSC Press Release

How Are We Making This Right: Casely is committed to its customers' safety and, out of an abundance of caution, has taken proactive measures to remove potentially faulty products from circulation. If your Power Pod qualifies, we will replace it with a brand-new unit at no cost to you.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Not all Power Pods are impacted by this recall - only specific styles and production periods qualify. All other battery packs remain safe for use.

Follow the link below to participate in the voluntary recall. You’ll need to provide:

  • Photo of your Power Pod's backside showing the item's model number
  • Photo of your Power Pod with "RECALLED" and today’s date written in permanent marker over the front side

Once we've received and confirmed this information, we will ship you a new, replacement Power Pod within 4 weeks. Replacement colors available for this recall program are limited to select colors and designs.

Submit a claim

Once you’ve lodged your claim above, please dispose of your current Power Pod in accordance with your local regulations for lithium-ion batteries. Improper disposal can lead to environmental hazards or safety risks.

Do not throw this recalled lithium-ion battery or device in the trash, in the general recycling stream (e.g., street-level or curbside recycling bins), or in used battery recycling boxes found at various retail and home improvement stores. Recalled lithium-ion batteries must be disposed of differently than other batteries because they present a greater risk of fire. Your municipal household hazardous waste (HHW) collection center may accept this recalled lithium-ion battery or device for disposal. Before taking your battery or device to an HHW collection center, contact them ahead of time and ask whether they accept recalled lithium-ion batteries. If they don’t, contact your municipality for further guidance.
